TRAVEL DOCUMENT/ LAISSEZ-PASSER

For Congolese citizens who have either lost their Congolese passports or possess expired ones, it is necessary to obtain a travel document or laissez-passer from the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Congo.

Please be aware of the following important details regarding the travel document or laissez-passer:

  1. It is valid for a period of 30 days (1 month).
  2. It is only valid for travel to the Republic of Congo (no visas from other countries can be affixed).
  3. It allows only a single entry, requiring the holder to apply for a new passport upon arrival in the Republic of Congo, as it is prohibited to leave Congolese territory using this same document.
