Required Documents
To obtain a Consular Card, you will need to provide the following documents:
- Proof of Congolese citizenship (a copy of your birth certificate AND either an expired or valid Congolese passport)
- Two passport photos
- A completed and signed consular card application form
The fee for obtaining a Consular Card is £40.
A prepaid, trackable special delivery envelope to safely return your card.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Acquiring a Consular Card is a prerequisite for accessing consular services.
Furthermore, it is strongly advised that all individuals of Congolese descent acquire a
Consular Card for statistical tracking. This card will facilitate easier handling of their
administrative affairs with the Embassy’s consular services. Additionally, holders of this card will
be invited to the Embassy's cultural and celebratory events, enabling them to support the development and
empowerment of the Congolese community in the UK or Ireland.
