BIRTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS
To obtain a Congolese birth certificate, the following documents are required:
1. A copy of the applicant's original British or Irish birth certificate.
2. A copy of a Congolese birth certificate of the parents, an essential document for claiming Congolese citizenship.
3. A copy of the consular card of one of the parents.
4. A copy of the national identity card or Congolese passport of one of the parents.
5. A handwritten or typed and signed letter addressed to the Embassy of the Republic of Congo to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, requesting the issuance of a Congolese birth certificate. The letter must include your first name, address, email, and phone number.
